WHY MERINO WOOL
INSULATES WHEN WET
Wool has the remarkable ability to absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without ever feeling wet or sticky. In the event that it does become wet, wool outperforms cotton and polyester materials by providing superior insulation.
Merino Wool fibers possess a natural ability to repel bacteria in moisture or sweat, effectively wicking it away. This means you can wear our products without worrying about foot fungus or unpleasant odors.
Merino Wool offers excellent insulation against high temperatures and has a natural resistance to catching fire. In the rare event of ignition, it self-extinguishes without melting and adhering to the skin, unlike synthetic fabrics.
Merino Wool regulates moisture levels on your skin by absorbing any perspiration or sweat from your body, allowing it to evaporate from the fabric into the surrounding atmosphere.
Leave your sunburn worries behind as you ascend to sunlit peaks. Our lightweight layers provide a UPF rating of 25, while the midweight and expedition options offer an even higher UPF rating of 50+
Merino Wool boasts a minimal environmental footprint and seamlessly reintegrates into the natural world. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and by afternoon, they're happily grazing their way towards renewing next season's wool clip
This was my second order. The tops are perfectly made and fit perfectly and are cozy warm! I highly recommend.
I am wearing it today. Early morning cross country meet with two of my granddaughters and it was chilly. The long sleeve shirt really made the difference in comfort.
I work for the local utility in my state. It’s great to have a base layer which is dependable, warm, comfortable and at a great price in todays economic recession.
Deer hunting in Utah this year. Weather started in the 40’s and dropped into the 20’s in the mornings, after noon on it would warm up to 50’s to 70’s. I felt warm and comfortable all day. Definitely will order more set’s just wish there was more colors to choose.
I have purchased two pairs of these (one lightweight, one midweight) and they are excellent. the price cannot be beat. they are well made and wash well. Will be buying more as I wear them nonstop once the weather gets cold. thanks for a great product!
I work remote and winter is here. These have really been nice! I have the 250 weight, great so far.
My husband purchased this set for me for the coming winter. I was worried it might be too itchy seeing as I tend to be sensitive about the fabrics I wear, however I don't find this set to be that. I was also worried about sizing and became a little nervous when I took the bottoms out of the parcel, however the size XL fits perfectly. I'm around 200 lbs 5"5 for reference. I run cold and our house gets even colder so I was in need of some warm layering pieces. I'm not fond of synthetic fabrics and despite the price point Id say this set is worth it. Do keep In mind that I've owned this set less than a week.
Used them on my trip to Iceland. That is the only layer I wear apart from my warm coat.Keeps me really warm. Unfortunately the free socks you gave are too big although it said for 5 to 9 I think so I can’t rate on that. Hopefully someone can make use of that
Merino wool is a beautiful thing. I bought 3 long-sleeve tops from MerinoTech - - a burgundy lightweight, a deep teal midweight, and a cherry red midweight. The hues are lovely - - much nicer than the colors my laptop screen displayed. I love them - - they are just what I wanted. They feel like a second skin. They keep me cozy and feel soft and smooth. I'm 5'6", 133 lbs and the small size fits perfectly. The sleeves lie close to my arms but not too tight and don't flop onto my wrist. I also have 3 wool tops from SmartWool which are snazzier. I love them, too, and they cost twice as much. So it's truly a great deal - - beautiful, form-fitting, cozy, perfectly functional, quite reasonably priced - - AND they gift you a pair of delicious wool socks! Great job, MT!
