Men's Merino Wool Clothing

The full men's range, all of it 100% Australian merino wool at 17.5 micron. Merino wool clothing works across a wider temperature range than cotton or synthetic because the fibre regulates rather than simply insulates — the same shirt that keeps you warm at dawn keeps you cool by midday.

What is in the range

  • Base layers and thermal underwear — long sleeves, pants and matched sets in 165 to 320 GSM.
  • T-shirts and long sleeves — 165 and 180 for warm weather, 250 for cold.
  • Half-zips and hoodies — midlayers that work over a base layer or on their own.
  • Polos — merino in a collar, for travel and smart-casual wear.
  • Boxers, socks and accessories — the pieces that decide whether a cold day is comfortable.

Reading the numbers

Every piece carries a GSM figure — grams per square metre. Bigger number, warmer fabric. 165 and 180 are lightweight, 200 is everyday, 250 covers most of winter, 320 is for standing still in real cold. That single number is the whole sizing-for-warmth system.

Why merino wool thermals beat synthetic

Wool thermal underwear insulates when damp, resists odor for days without washing, blocks UV, and does not hold static. Synthetic does none of that well. The trade is care: cold wash, gentle cycle, dry flat.
