A merino wool t shirt works across a wider temperature range than any cotton tee — cool in heat because it moves moisture as vapour, warm in cold because the fibre insulates. All 100% Australian merino at 17.5 micron, in 165 and 180 GSM.
Crewneck or V-neck
- Merino women's crewneck t-shirt — the classic shape, easiest to layer under a half zip or jacket.
- V-neck — more open at the collar, better on its own and under a shirt.
Both come in the same fabric, so the choice is styling rather than performance. A ladies merino t shirt in 165 is the lightest option; 180 holds shape slightly better for everyday wear.

Merino traps odor-causing bacteria inside the fibre rather than releasing it, so one merino t-shirt covers several days without washing. That is why a single wool t shirt takes the place of three cotton ones in a carry-on.
